utah hair weekend

every six-eight weeks i head down to utah for a make-shift salon in my sister's house for clients in that area. i was there for three days this time and didn't sit down for more than five minutes, but it was so much fun! we forgot to take pictures of everyone, but we got a few that i'll share over the next few days. i always ask how they'd like me to style their hair and the beachy curls is 100% of the time requested. i supppose it's becoming my signature style.

i promise i don't just do curls...

everyone, this is kirsti, kirsti...everyone. she has been my best friend since 7th grade. she loves to have short hair and is daring with her looks (as you can see she has no trouble pulling it off). it's wonderful to try something edgy once in awhile...after all, it's only hair.

fave little boy haircut- the beckham

my three nephews get the look of david beckham (pre buzz). little boys look so cute in this cut.

thick, thick hair

me and my brother kenny, two of the six specimens in my family who have hair as thick and coarse as a horse. all the siblings are now counting their lucky stars that i do hair because i know from the past how hard it is to find a hairdresser that gets how to cut a thick mane. you have to have it to really understand, and oh boy do i have it. i know just how much you have to HACK into it to give it shape. i gave kenny the "zack efron" - isn't he cute? (i mean kenny, not zack...i'm not a fan.)

little girls, little girls

the moms of both of these girls came to me wanting a short and easy and cute 'do for their littles. i love them for that- for knowing that long hair is not the only thing for little girls! trust me, they hate having it brushed anyway- so i say you might as well make them stylish and make your life easier. and they look so cute.
